Detailed physical examination is paramount to add up features that could narrow the differential diagnosis. In this case, and as Zhou shrewdly noticed, the dermal plaques have a vesicle-like appearance. Some of the other lesions (not shown in the Clinical Picture)1 indeed had a morphology similar to small bullae. Neutrophilic dermatoses, and specifically Sweet's syndrome, have different variants.
